Well written article. I was drawn to read it because for me, too, not having delved further into math during college is a big regret. I was always "good at math" but never really enjoyed it—probably because I rarely saw a practical use of it. As soon as I was able to test out of taking any further math, I quit taking math classes and didn't look back.

Now, I love math. Maybe it's because I'm older (wiser? 🤔), maybe it's because I write software, who knows? But if I could go back and advise my younger self, the first thing I would tell him (okay, maybe the second or third thing I'd tell him) would be to keep learning math.
