The questions would probably need to be finessed a bit if we were to use them in real interviews. But I agree; they could at least form the basis of better questions than some of the Leetcode problems and algorithm challenges that we usually see.

In reality, if I was faced with #6, I would probably focus on the production issue where I could, followed by the troubleshooting ask from the senior director. Of course, I am currently lucky enough to have a manager who would probably agree with my decision, and would be fine with my setting aside the work he’d asked me to do.
