I’d once read — a long time ago — that camelCase can refer to either the initial-upper-case or initial-lower-case form. But whatever it is I’d read is admittedly probably wrong. Maybe I’ll update the article… of course, then, I’d have to find a new cover image too 🤔

I actually agree, albeit grudgingly, that Apple’s standard itself is acceptable. The main problem is that it pretty much ensures a garbled mess for any classname that subsequently includes acronyms (e.g. the NSHTTPURLResponse mentioned in the article.
