Sesquipedalian would have been a great addition; I like the meta-reference that you cannot say sesquipedalian without being sesquipedalian. Although I do wonder what the shorter option would be (simply “long-winded”, perhaps?)

Interestingly, I did actually use D’yer Mak’er as an example of a slurvian in the article. I learned the story behind that song decades ago from my college band’s bass player, who was a huge Zeppelin fan.
