If, in your disclaimer, you state "I am not against using DTOs" then why is your article titled "Stop using Data Transfer Objects (DTOs) in your code"? Moreover, what is the alternative? Are you proposing that teams simply throw up their hands and expose their internal data models? Avoid API calls altogether?

Also — and I apologize if this sounds a bit snooty or whatever — but I wouldn't make suggestions about proper microservice architecture while stating "where it seems to be the trend nowadays". That sort of statement pretty much belies any authority on the subject.
